ABSOLUTELY!!! Next month, on the 26th of March, it will be the 15th anniversary of the day my husband was murdered. We were soulmates amd we had promised each other we'd visit each other's dreams if we were ever separated. Sure enough, I dream about him or get a really clear memory/vision of him EVERY day! True love never dies! He will be forever in my heart. So will your deceased love - IF you want it that way - otherwise, clear it from your mind and go on - either way, live your life as if he/she were still here.

Hello,

(ANS) dreaming about someone you love (loved) who died is a healthy & completely normal aspect of the grieveing process in my opinion.

Its a part of remembering them including the good and the not so good things about that person, this helps us to put that person into a more realistic view of them. The dreaming about them is also a way partly not to forget them but also partly a way to let go of them too (I know that sounds paradoxical but its true). It could also be seen as a way of sorting out any unfinished business with that person, anything you regret that you should have said but didnt etc can come out in our dreams too.

Those that have passed on are always in our thoughts , in dreams also , mine are of the times with my father as he was killed in the 39/45 war they have gone on for many years, he never grows old and I am still a child , I have survived 34 more years than he did, this also encompasses those who I was in the forces with and old school friends now deceased, from this can you define if they are dreams drawn from memories of the past as we remember them or visitation of those who have passed before us, I personally would like to think my Father as been watching over me all these years, I am still however waiting for him to tell me the lot terry numbers before they are declared.

This happened to me. Generally I think you feel the need to know they are somewhere safe - and hope there is an afterlife - most unsovled thoughts do appear in some form through dreams:)

A Buddist once told me they believe the dead do contact you.
When my father died he told me in a dream that night that I would die but not die - didn't make sense. He told me in the dream I would overcome a hurdle he did not.
In 2001 I did die, in hospital and was bought back to life. Spooky. Also when I 'died' I was the exact age my father was when he did not overcome the hurdle of death. Really really spooky. Don't get stressed but do take note of your dreams.

I think so. It makes it easy to deal with the pain. My mom lost her dad very young when she was 12. And she believes that after her dad died, he came to her in her dreams and told her something. (More kinda unfinished business).

Well, it’s up to people to believe that kind of stuff. However, in my opinion, it definitely helps one move on. And it’s important that you morn for the person whom you just lost.
