It is normal....I'm 20 & still think like that. Funnily enough I work with a lot of psychologists & they enjoy there job! Work hard & you can achieve it! Work especially hard & you can become a top psychologist as there are a lot of other people who want 2 do the same thing! Study psychology in sixth form/college then take it onto uni - you can only go up from there! (If you try HARD!). I didn't so now I am stuck in a rut!

Yes, of course it is normal to worry about things at any age. Infact when I was 13 I had more worries than I do now as an adult. Everything was so uncertain with hormones, boyfriends, school, parents etc. It gets better, you are at a difficult stage in life when you are gaining freedom & that can be very daunting. If you want to be a psychologist concentrate on that goal, find out what qualifications you need & then go for it. Don't let fear put you off anything. You can do it! Good luck.

You sweet silly girl. A psychiatrist once told me a quick way to find out if someone is mad is to ask them. Truly mad people will insisit they are sane. Normal people will wonder why, what etc. You are very normal to wonder, shows you have a brain. Crocodiles don't worry about the future they just eat things/people. I'm old but growing wiser. Looking back the worst times ( when I was an abused wife, a single Mum, when I was sick and when I was almost dead ) were the most challenging times when I (me, myself ) was challenged, alone and yet endured. The worst times bought out the best in me. Not like some boring, talking out of their bottoms, dull people who never had a challenge in their life. Keep worying girl, IT WILL KEEP YOUR BRAIN ACTIVE but also look for the GOOD in ORDINARY things (rainbows, trees, friends, sweet smell of rain etc. Good luck dear {oh and learn to use the spell-check)

It may be normal but you still have to realise that you must also focus short-term to build a platform for what you want to be. For instance- you say you want to be a 'pycologist' when you grow up. Wouldn't it be better to focus on what you're being taught now so that you do have a sound enough educational platform to begin training to be a 'psychologist'?
Just a thought, best of luck...

To have an adult way of thinking at this age is good
keep it up, dear
but don't worry about being poor or failed,
In order for a dream to be a reality it must be dreamed first
Peace

People are always trying to give perils to young children, but what is important for you to remember, is not to listen to them. Older people are discouraged, cynical , and they will try to crush you dreams. The problem is that they are failures and a part of them does not want to see you succeed. If someone tells you your dream is impossible, or you are not talented enough to succeed work even harder to succeed.
