Because we were given minds and brains. Part of the way we learn things is by asking questions. It is also part of the way things are invented. Like the cell phone. It was probably a response to such questions as these:
How can I get important phone calls when I am not at home or work?
How can I call a wrecker when my car is broken down and I have no change for the pay phone or there is no pay phone?
How can people reach me immediately in an emergency?
It was questions such as this that led someone to invent something that would accomplish these things.

It's not our fault, it's because we're human and have a deep rooted need to know why we're here and how things work. Early man wanted to know how and why they came into being and were scared because they didn't know. So some smart alec in his tribe made-up gods and the story of how they made the earth and man, this made his people feel better. So we question things to make us feel better.

They say "Believe and not question" or something like that...I think it's in our nature to do that because we think, desiccate, wonder. It is normal until it turns obsessive(suspicion).Though we should not put to test everything. From my point of view there are things we just take as they are.One of those things is religion.I'm christian orthodox and I believe everything that's whit in the orthodox dogma. It should be applied to other things to, as there are concepts that can be taken as they are, we will just complicate our existence if we question anything and everything.

It's not human nature to accept things as they are. We must question everything because questioning leads us to knowledge, understanding and growth. We are made to progress and taking things as they would be anti-progressive.
