I have heard that Crocs are really good for nurses. They are comfortable, supportive, no slip, and don't create scuff marks. Highly recommended for people who have to be on their feet for long periods of time. Also, they're made from some sort of closed-cell polymer so they don't absorb odors. And you can wash them with soap and water.

(No, I don't work for the company, but I had to do research on them for a project.)

Crocs = most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. You won't believe the difference until you try them.

I work 16+ hours a day, walking & standing on concrete, and some days I could barely stand up by the end of the day because my feet, knees, hips, and back hurt so bad. Everyone recommended Crocs, but I hesitated for months because I HATE clogs and thought they were clunky and ugly. Finally caved, and now I literally have not worn any other shoes since the moment I bought them. It feels like wearing slippers to work, and ALL of the pain is GONE!

Crocs come in several different styles, colors, and sizes, are lightweight, slip-resistant, secure & versatile (wear with or without heel strap in place), healthy for your feet, do NOT absorb smells, can be washed in the sink or dishwasher. They cost about $30 and are available at department stores and/or online. My feet are very hard to fit, but my ONLY complaint is that my toes get wet when I wear the style with ventilation holes on a rainy day, but I will soon buy a pair with closed toes for those days.

Seriously, try them. They are PERFECT for nurses and others who spend all day walking on hard floors. You WON'T regret it.

I have all kinds of calcium lumps in my feet. My doctor suggested that I get shoes with runner's soles. You know like gym shoes. The manufactures are really catching on and you can get them in all kinds of designs, buckle, tie, sandals, you name. It has been God sent to me.

K Swiss. I know, but they are very padded and comfortable. Also, if you need to run, you wont trip over them. My sister wears them for her job because she has a lot of walking to do.
