There are several ways of distinguishing continents, so if you say that Eurasia is a single continent, Moscow, the capital of Russia, is located in Eurasia.

If you think that there are two separate continents, Europe and Asia, then Moscow, the capital of Russia, is in Europe.

Russia (the Russian Federation) was the largest part of the former Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was in both Europe and Asia (most in Asia). Russia is is both Europe and Asia (most in Asia).

Russia's capital city is Moskva (Moscow). This large city is located in Europe, not very far from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, White Russia, and Ukraine, all former republics of Soviet Union.

Moscow, Russia is also about halfway between the White Sea (to the north) and the Black Sea.

Moscow is one of the biggest towns in the world. Is a city that's grown fast in new years, and, as a result, comprises high-rise suburbs surrounding a somewhat lightweight historical heart with lots of amazing historical architecture. The most crucial host to Moscow may be the Red Square that has been for ages, one's heart and heart of Russia. Here, you can visit the Century St. Basil's Cathedral, one of the most famous items of architecture in the world and the constructivist chart of Lenin's Mausoleum. Red Square is surely a wealthy place in representations of Russia's turbulent and intriguing past.

By general agreement, the dividing line between Europe and Asia is said to be the Caucasus Mountain chain, from which we get the name for a racial group, Caucasian. This mountain chain is roughly in a North-South line north of the Caspian Sea. Moscow is to the west of that mountain chain, as is the smaller piece of Russia, and therefore, is in Europe.
