Ok, here's my question and it's specialised to the guys...girls you can answer it if you want. Now, if you watch most of the movies. have you ever noticed that more woman are becoming heroes..than man? for example underworld evolution, Aeonflux and lotz more... so guys, what do you think??

i liked underworld a lot,then again i think kate beckinsale is one of the hottest babes on earth,aeonflux brill movie,its nice to see the women as heros indeed

Underworld yes but Aeon Flux has been around a long time. Hmmm yes it seems they are useing more women heros these days it goes the same with games more and more female characters. The reason is for a lot of people today sex sells and women are sexy. Thats pretty much it most guys today dont need a hero figure to look up to (so they think) and they would rather see a scandaly clad woman kickin booty.

We live in a society where feminine values are held in higher regard than masculine values. This is not to say that all males are masculine and all females feminine, for this is certainly not the case. However, things like safety being more important than fun, and children more important than people, point to these values. Plus, for a long time, the hero was always a man, so nowadays what is wanted has changed. That and guys like watching women in skintight outfits flipping around everywhere.

Yes, I love heroine movies too~ Resident Evil is not that bad also. And Kill Bill. Any movies that girls kick ***~! You could try watching asian movies too like So Close and Naked Weapon or My Wife is A Gangster, it really emphasizes girls doing the stunts and all that actions.

Yeah, it's just Hollywood capitalizing on the strange mental quirk many of us men have about being attracted to gals who kick ***. Is this a super-lite version of S&M? Who knows? All I know is that it's made them a lot of money lately.
