Has it been formatted as in music has just been removed. In that case all you have to do is load the music back onto it...

If it is an iPod or similar, and is synced with your PC, then plug it back in and go on iTunes and it should automatically update it with all the same music that was on there before.

The Music must still be on your PC. Just plug it back in to the usb and hey presto. I hope

i really dont think so. as formatting cleans the memory to reset the player. i used software to format my ipod once a while. there's no turning back
