Hmm, that sounds like pretty comprehensive coverage! By the way, Firefox browser has a great feature called "Clear Private Data" which is perfect for deleting usage trails (or maybe you need the opposite and want to see where somebody else has visited?).

Generally speaking, not from that same computer, no. Once you've cleared the History folder, the address bar will no longer auto-fill any previous URLs, and you will not be able to look up URLs that were visited on previous days by using the History button. Once you've emptied out the Temp folder and Temporary Internet Files folder, no files that were downloaded to enable websurfing (images, webpage code, etc.) will be left around to directly show what sites were surfed recently. And once the cookies folder is emptied, there won't be any cookies left with any website names to determine what sites might have been visited (though most cookies will actually slip in through ad banners and be totally unrelated to whatever websites you were actually visiting).

However, if you saved any images or documents from the internet (some of which may contain URL tags to identify where they were downloaded from), duplicates will be stored in the My Recent Documents on a rotating basis (as new ones are added, old ones should get flushed). And more importantly, your internet provider could be keeping a history of what websites have been visited through your internet connection (though only the account holder should be able to get access to that list without a warrant provided by a court of law).

Also, some utilities might allow you to recover data that's been deleted from your Cookies/History/Temp/Temporary Internet Files folders after it has been deleted as long as those sectors on the hard-drive have not since been overwritten with new data.

Its our belief that removing history, temp files from the computer will remove all your removed things from harddisk, just forget that thing if you formatt the harddisk then also even your password is also stored in the harddisk . So deleted files, surfed websites and many things are always there in the same harddisk where you have surfed. unless n untill you have used any software that make layer on your harddisk.

but you dont have to worry much abt your deleted files and surfed websites as its once u have deleted completely it can se viewed by some specific softwares only which is used by intelligence agencies in western countries.
