Hi, I wish you had told two more things, BUDGET and secondly, whether ur relationship is formal or not.
anyway, the other day i bought a beautiful thing for my 40 yr old Army Colonel brother. I went to an exclusive silver jeweller. I bought a pen stand, it had a wooden base and had silver carving in it and a small watch too. it came for 1600 something rupees.
try buying SILK TIE, a sterling silver little something for a desk, a designer pen. you can also try buying a membership for a health club, you can gift him a magazine subscription, if he is still a boy at heart, maybe a video game??? you can buy him gold cuff links, a designer watch, diner tickets, tickets to a good show in town...i am running out of ideas now...best of luck.
