BABYSHAM: everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when its factually wrong, it sets a bad example for the girls or kids in the game that are still learning. my point is to educate, not end up with another breed of narrow minded football fans that follow arsenal at the moment, and in future if you are going to take time to answer my questions, give an answer with substance not a smart arsed excuse to have yet another pop at MANCHESTER UNITED.

CHAS: i feel sorry for you that you find it necessary to cat call,
(do you even know what a prat is ? or are you like the rest of arsenal supporters ? "some other arsenal fan said it, so it must be a bad thing to call someone"
as you can see some of your compatriots have wandered of and left the pack of sheep, my concern is that its the likes of you that will instill the same old bad habits that arsenal fans have, into your kids, FFS cut them some slack, educate them, arsehole whinger is a terrible manager and sets a bad example. PERIOD.

Good on you, it was a great goal by a great player.

Indeed. Judging from the infantile responses to that question, one would think Giggs (brilliant player) was playing football in his first season. This professional knows everything a footballer needs to know about the game... at all bloody levels. The goal stands. Without a shred of a doubt. It is within the rules of the game. Christ! THERE IS A REFEREE PRESENT. Lille's players walk-out was disgraceful and the staff totally devoid of sportsmanship.

Sorry but it's not ALL Arsenal fans just a minority few and every club has those including mine. I'm not proud to admit that but I don't have a problem admitting it.

Henry has used the quick free-kick trick himself so the Arsenal fans in question can't really say anything.

Your point is well taken.

You really made my day! Of course there was always going to be idiots complaining about Ryan Gigg`s Goal, the debate will continue for a long time. If the Goal was illegal the Referee would have blown his whistle, HE DID NOT, get over it.

as a villa fan, i remember thierry henry doing it to us about 2 seasons ago. i wasn't happy about it but accepted it. so for an gooner to complain is a joke!!

before a mtch the ref will go into the dressin rooms and tell the players whether he will allow quick free kicks or not.

Fuckin hell! how can some people just be absolute n0bs, i mean am a leeds fan and i dont get bothered about the likes of man u, chelsea, liverpool or arsenal doing well in europe (or being in premiership) i dont get jealous.

arsenal have never done much in europe its just petty jealously because their not exactly having their best of seasons

OK so the goal was given, it wasn't an illegal goal, perhaps immoral but not illegal.

Imagine the shoe had been on the other foot and Lille had scored that goal to beat United 1-0 at Old Trafford, would Fergie and all the mancs accept it and keep quiet, I don't think so. So you can't blame Lille for being annoyed.

Lille got the shitty end of the stick, it happens.

I dont even know where all the debate has come from, it has to be from people who know nothing about the game.... It was a great goal by a great player.

Muppets.

If you ask the ref if you can take it before the whistle and he says yes, then the ball is live, rules of the game.

Gooner twats

i think the goal was unfair, though i did want man u to win because there an English side, the way i saw it was the goal keeper was still organising the wall and clearly wasn't ready for them to take the free kick although it maybe the rules, i think man u played dirty tactics because they were drawing against the easiest side in the competition and didn't want to be embarrassed! (that is just my opinion)
