Just interested in peoples views good/bad points about them.

I worked for Capita for about 2 years. In my personal experience they were not a great company; I worked in the Customer Service Department and spent all day taking calls from angry clients and IFAs about how rubbish the service they were receiving was. It was a sole destroying job as no matter how hard you tried to be good at what you were doing the companies reputation was so bad you still got grief! We had a very 'big brother' type phone system where we were monitored on how many calls we took (we had to average about 60 each a day) and had to put codes in for lunch, going to the printer/fax, going to the toilet etc - people actually used to get disciplinaries for spending too much time throughout the day in the toilet!
The people that I worked with on my Team were lovely and there was a real spirit of us all pulling together to get through each day, however people frequently ended up in tears at their desks because of the stress! To top it all they don't pay very well either.
Over all I would not recommend a career there or taking our a pension with them due to their poor administration and service history.

Hmmm! Check out Private Eye if you want the real low down on this set-up. They lovingly refer to them as Crapita! The history of their disasters makes very interesting reading.

they are useless at communication.
