You cannot convert inches (length) to cubic feet (volume).To convert inches to feet, divide by 12. Inches and feet measure length. To convert cubic inches to cubic feet, divide by 12^3 = 1728. Cubic inches and cubic feet measure volume.

But if mean how many cubic feet is 3 CUBIC inches, then divide 3 by the cube of 12.

Inches is for length - 1 dimension, and cubic measures (be it cubic feet, cubic inches or cubic metres) are for volumes - 3 dimensional. Please do not confuse between both.
1 cubic feet = 1728 cubic inches (12x12x12 inches).
