The Pacific Ocean is deeper.
According to my World Almanac, the Pacific Ocean has the greatest average depth -- 12,925 feet, or almost 2 1/2 miles. The Pacific also has the largest known maximum depth, in the famous Mariana Trench; this maximum depth is 35,840 feet, or a little over 6 3/4 miles.
(That's deep!)

The Pacific Ocean is quite a bit deeper than the Atlantic Ocean, counting the deepest parts of the oceans.
The deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean is the South Sandwich Trench at 8,428 meters. This is located south of South America, near Antarctica.
The Pacific Ocean has many places much deeper than that. The deepest is the Mariana Trench at 11,034 meters, located between Japan and Caroline Islands, very near Guam.
The Tonga Trench, Kuril Trench, Mindanao Trench, and Kermadec Trench are also over 10,000 meters deep.
The Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean is about 2,600 meters deeper than the South Sandwich Trench in the Atlantic Ocean. So, that means the the Pacific Ocean is the deepest ocean.

The Pacific has the deepest spots compared to the Atlantic. This is because some of the earths tectonic plates (the ones that the continents are on which move about very slowly - commonly known as continental drift) collide with each other in quite a few areas in the Pacific. The result is that they push each other downwards and create extremely deep trenches. The notable feature of the Atlantic is the undersea mountain range called the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which is where two plates are moving apart and volcanic uprisings occur and create a ridgeline.

1 Pacific Ocean (35,837 ft) (10,924 meters)
2 Atlantic Ocean (30,246 ft) (9,219 meters)
So...definitely the Pacific Ocean =]
