delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test:

Swollen/Tender Breasts:
Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.

Fatigue/Tiredness:
Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom which can also start as early as the first week after conception.

Nausea/Morning Sickness:
This well-known pregnancy symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all, while others will feel nauseous throughout most of their pregnancy.

Backaches:
Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy; however, it is common to experience a dull backache throughout an entire pregnancy.

Headaches:
The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.

Frequent Urination:
Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.

Darkening of Areolas:
If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.

Food Cravings:
While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy.

I didn't know I was pregnant for a while cause I usually got cramps about a week before my period was due and throughout! So I assumed the cramps meant it was coming... buuut it didn't... this is normal and I got cramps the first two months around the time my period was due. If you don't start bleeding or spotting bright red you are most likely fine.. but if you will feel more comfortable you can ask your doctor... I was always afraid to look stupid and held back alot of my questions that I wished I would have asked... if it will help ease your mind that is all that matters... chances are you aren't the first to ask! Congratualtions and good luck!

My period is due on Sat which I hope it doesn't come as we are trying ttc aswell. I was having really tender breasts like I was wearing my work shirt yesterday and it was slightly rubbing causing them to be like a burning sensation and all week have felt exhausted.I believe I have heightened sense of smell- probably just in my head though! But today I feel really good so I reckon for me it is pms. I did take a preg test 2 days ago but it was a waist of time. Cross our fingers for both of us.

Probably the same as usual for now, in a couple of weeks you may feel a bit nausious, bloated breast and maybe a metallic taste in your mouth.

Why dont you take a preg, test and find out for sure.

Do you have diarehhea. If so I don't think that has anything to do with being pregnant. You may have just ate a nasty taco, like the ones you get in mexico. If you haven't had your period in 6 months, check to see if your belly is getting bigger if so, you could be pregnant, or just getting fat.
