i need to find an IP from a network server.Is it possible to find it; Is there any way i can do that;

u r using ur ip? if you needa know ur own ip. the site below helps.

You can go to www.download.com Download and install Angry IP Scanner.

Its a single file EXE which can Ping Sweep your network and tell you which servers systems are online and offline.

Give the IP Range to scan and you would get all the servers online.

Find out ur server.

You may not get the desired results if PING is disabled on your network.

If you are on the machine that you want to find the IP address for you can go to yahoo and search for IP address and that will tell you what ip address you are on.

That is not your machines actual network ip address though

To find that it all depends on what version of windows you are running.

Try going to start run type in cmd

at the command prompt type in ipconfig
