Some people are like that. Insecure maybe. Always have to have someone else around to validate their existance, or boost their ego. Personally, I treasure my solitary time.

Not all people hate being alone. I actually prefer to live an isolated, uncomplicated, life independent of other peoples demands and problems. People can be a chore to put it mildly and it came to a point to where I just had enough and I eased into my solitude. NOW I don't have the same stresses and difficulties that I experienced before when associating with others.

I don't know why anyone would hate being alone-- not all the time of course. I was raised in a family with four sibs and I love the time I can spend alone. I guess I can enjoy my own company--thoughts.

Its in are instincts to be with someone or in a group, safety by numbers, as we could be more easily attacked by ourselves. You see it all through nature, in most animals, as its survival tactics.
