there r three types of classrooms. one is subject sentred. where subject which we teach is more important. teacher centred is importance to the teacher & what she teaches. the third is the most important one. that is student centred. here importance is what a student should learn, how to make him understand what the teacher teaches & how to make his learning useful & enjoyable. all the classrooms should be student centred.the studant should be able to move around, should be able to reach the black board, should be able to experience of what he learns (teaching aids should be within his reach & safe.)teachers should guide them in their learning.

the student should be the main focus
The teacher should not have an upper hand.
The students should be allowed to explore and learn on their own while the teachers take the role of only a facilitator.

vs. teacher centered, where the teacher does all the talking. With student centered, the students are talking, working together to solve problems and so forth....the focus is on them instead of on the teacher.
