Before the release of the Wii, there has been alot of negative feedback from most people on here about the Wii, saying it won't be good, PS3 will be better and such. Now that Christmas is over and things are calming down, what do you think is the better console, and did you have a negative view on the Wii, until you played it and now you like it.
I have a Wii and I love it. I like the ps3 and xbox 360 as well, but im glad that the Wii lived up to the expectations I had for it.

Drbuns made a point. I love the Wii, always have even after TGS '05 (When they showed the remote), but when you play it for a while, you get bored of it just like the DS. They need better games and some good graphics.
But anyways, buying the Wii is a smart move, and they will be making more enjoyable games, so I'd highly suggest sticking with buying it.

I have a changed opinion of the Wii....here is my story:
I was excited over Wii and bought one on the day it came out. I already had a 360, and thought th 2 consoles would be perfect together. I got the Wii and played for about 3 weeks , only stopping for work and sleep, and then something funny happened.... It stopped being so fun. I bought Need for Speed: Carbon and Zelda to see if I could get more enjoyment out of it, but I ended up going back to my 360. The games are just better. While I applaud Nintendo for doing something so new and fresh, I am afraid all the developers see it for is using it as a gimmick. After the novelty wears off, you can see that the Wii is just another gaming system, but with bad graphics, sadly. Since then I have sold my Wii and even made a profit.
Hopefully someone will like it more than I did.

My opinion hasn't changed much. When I first heard of the Wii, I was so excited and thought it was such a great idea. After I got a Wii, I realized how right I was! I like it even more than I thought I was going to. I was worried about the controls, but they have turned out to be very easy to get into and it's not hard to play at all. I am really pleased with the Nintendo Wii.

I already knew that the wii was going to be awesome before it released. I personally think that Nintendo makes the better systems. I think that the wii also has more games that are more fun. I mean, the wii just a few months ago and it already has a great amont of fun games. And all those games that's coming out in the future like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing are going to be great. Me and my mom had a hard time finding a wii but it was worth it. I already have Zelda, Wario Ware and Monkey Ball and they all are so much fun. It takes me a while just to decide on which game to play. Only thing I don't like is that my brother wants to play it all day and don't give me a chance to play it much. I say (Come on, it was my Christmas present, not yours). I have to sneak when he's not looking and start playing :)) I'm glad I got a wii instead of a ps3 though. I love Wii! Its so amazing and addictive.

No, my opinion is still that the Wii is the best thing that happened since TV and toilet paper. The Wii is just fresh. PS3 is just another machine with good graphics. How is that different from the other consoles. But the Wii is innovative and stands out.

Here's my problem with the Wii; my wife wants to play it as much or more than I do. Here, I thought I'd have a good time-killer and be able to spend some quiet time by myself playing video games. NO. All it gets used for, it seems, is Rayman and WarioWare. DAMN YOU NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!
(Just kidding. I love it)
