BTW isn't the title of the movie a bit redundant? It's saying Extra Terrestrial the Extra Terrestrial. But anyway, it's 25 years later and Elliott is what about 35 now, and because of his encounter with E.T. he grows up to become an astronaut and sure enough, E.T. contacts him, except now he's phoning on an extra terrestrial cell phone, and boy those minutes must add up, but anyway, E.T. gives Elliott directions to find his planet by GPS and so Elliott takes off and visits E.T. for the rest of the movie. And the name of the movie? I thought you'd never ask. " ETC. "

Very cool idea. I love the title suggestion. ETC. (And so on, or ''a continuation", or more to follow). I have a movie producer friend....I called him one day and asked him if he would be interested in making a movie based on my marriage and he told me no, because there was already a movie called Rocky.
Yours is a great idea,though. Very clever.

i think of that is too previous due for a sequel... At maximum, i think of they'll do a re-imagining, as they say. I doubt they'll do a remake for a loooong time. there is not any way Spielberg will hotel to 80 two' technologies. i think of that could desire to be stupid to reunite Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore. they're going to probably do basically a crap remake like Alice in Wonderland.

Only one flaw in your otherwise good idea - GPS doesn't work very well, and only covers Earth. Wouldn't it have to be called UPS (Universe Positioning System)
