I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned "The Way We Were" and the all time - gets me every time is the scene from "Hope Floats" when the litttle girl (Bernice) begs her daddy to take her with him and he says "I love you, you're my little princess" and then just drives off leaving her sobbing. OOOH gets me now just thinking about it!

The stepmother, with Susan Saranda and Julia Roberts. I always get emotional to think of how I would feel if I were dying, and knew it, and leave behind the ones I love. I also think of my brother,when I watch this movie, who knew he had terminal cancer, and had to live his last days knowing he was dying. And knowing how desperately he wanted to live.
