okay people, lets read between the lines, would we welcome the new additions to the royal family, overseas as in international rather than just europe? would there theoretically be less divorce, any implications for international relations that sort of thing,

Dan and rheat, interesting equally thoughtful answers. Human relations are sufficiently complicated to rule out the option of saying "never". One of the danish princesses is orginally from Hong Kong, but not of royal origin, course.

well,
Albert and the queen would not allow any one n the royal family to marry anyone that isnt from England, N. ireland, Scotland or Wales.

but if they weren't subtley racist and one of the princes did marry a foreigner it would calm alot of tensions between the two countries, the royalists would end up being loyal to both "kings" and freindly competition would begin but eventually they would have to end the marriage because "freindly" cant be used anymore and we would all slip into a nuclear winter :d

Not a lot. Most of the British monarchs married into European royal families.
There have not been many truly British brides for British kings.
Queen Victorias family was spread far & wide.
Albert Prince Consort was German
The Tsar & Kaiser were her nephews.
The last Europaen bride was Queen Alexander who was Danish.
She was married to King Edward VII.Hope I got that bit right without looking it up.
Since then all queen consorts have been British.

For many years that is what happened. And sometimes the wives were treated with respect, but usually the king (and it was usually a king) would have mistresses and behave in appalling ways. Two famous divorces to foreign princesses were of course, Henry VIII and George IV. There were many illegitimate offspring, as well.
Queen Victoria, who did marry for love and married a foreign prince, had a very bad relationship with her eldest son, who in his turn, had many mistresses.
A further point is that if a royal marriage was arranged, it might lead to treaties being made and we would find ourselves involved in a war because our prince had married a foreign bride.
Sometimes, when princes marry their mistresses, at least you know what you're getting. A tart for a queen.

Well all the royal family's are related, so i would say it would'nt matter! But if they were cousins it would be Inbreeding!
It depends how close they are related! If they are not they could possibly become the queen or king of the Ukraine as well as the king or queen of France!
I hope that helps! or is relevant to your question!

not much different it happens all the time it only gets complicated when two hiers marry that then both go on to take their origanal thrown.
A country could chose to abolish the royal like Britain did with our most resent king when he married an American
or they could join their countries / empiers, not the safest of options if you look at the caos the Queen of Scots caused.

And as for your overseas coment everyone would end up with foriegners ruling their country just look at the Winsors there all German.

Inbreeding. And it already happened. Look at King George the III. Look at Juana la Loca.

Umm...that's exactly what DID happen in Europe for most of history.

Even Queen Victoria's beloved Albert was German, you know!
