Americans are not happy with the Bush/Cheney administration. Bush's approval ratings in the US are down around 30%. Bush has alienated most countries around the world, weakening the US position and respect across the globe. To improve our relations with others we first need to stop invading countries and bombing innocent people to further someone's interpretation of US "interests." Then it would be a good step to include others in solving problems rather than acting as if we had a corner on wisdom and the understanding of facts. Violence is the course of last resort while being the first to strike is a sign of a lack of honor. It is most likely a Democrat will replace Bush as he has so damaged the Republican party it is doubtful they will win anything for a long time in American politics. These changes would go a long way towards having the US welcomed and respected in the world again.

1) First of All we have not had good relations with North Korea in close to a century, Iran in 40 years. Venezuela is turning Communist, which goes against what America stands for. Russia is drifting back towards it too.

2) America is never going to be able to maintain good relations with everyone in the world. When is the last time a global or even regional power was ever able to keep good relations with other nations? The goal of the nations is to expand their power to the point where they can have the power and influence we have or greater. Right now the influence and power lies with America. Look at history:
The Romans were despised by other nations.
Spain was hated at the height of their power in the 17th Century
Britain, France in the 18th-early 20th Centuries.
Now it's the US.

3) The Next President will not be a Democrat. Why do I say this? Because Americans do not favor defeat. A recent poll by The Moriah Group, Chattanooga, TN proves as such, with 53% of Americans saying that Democrats are going to far in pressing Bush to pull-out. The American people were concerned with the strategy of achieving victory, not the goal of victory itself. The Democratic Congress is already overplaying its "mandate."

1. I think the Bush administration is disliked because of changes in the world's politics, not because of Bush's policy. I see that most governments have made changes toward socialism and communism, and not toward democracy. I DO, however, think that Bush has been destroyed in a sense by his inability to speak english effectively though.

2. Bush is a hard-liner with his foreign policy. He needs to build more relationships of trust with other nations instead of drawing a line and inviting other nations to cross it.

3. I do not think Democrats will win the next election unless a better candidate than Hillary Clinton wins the nomination for her party. Further, whoever takes over the administration will have their hands full for a long time before they can ever act to bring about good results, if that is possible. I am sure it is a very overwhelming position for any President, and one I would not like to assume.

This administrations approvals rating is hovering right around 30% or so...so no, the American people are not happy with them and its just a matter of time now before they are out of office and a new one will take over...whether its republican or democratic remains to be seen but I hope for the good of America, its DEMOCRATIC!
