Social responsibilty, in my opinion, means to be an active member of society and contribute to it by means of working, taking care of those who need it etc and also to obey the rules/laws of that society so you do not endanger other people.

It is our bad luck that in India nobody is interested to do his/her social responsibility in society. Even some people create societies for this purpose , within a very short period they become self purposed.
The main social responsibilities are to take stand against the devils of society such like Dowry, Abortions, Corruption, Divorce, Poverty, Unemployment And above all the bloody devil of Terrorism.
