The short answer is no. Since you are using a modem (phone/dial up) you would have to dial in to the LAN with both PCs (2 phone lines). The LAN would have to be set up with multiple incoming modems to accept the PCs dialing in. This is the way dial-up ISPs are set up.

Best way is to make a Lan connectivity throurgh CAT E cable with RJ45 connector. if u dont have lan card in ur pc. then go 4 a parallel cable connection connectes ur both computer through DB 25 Male connector cable. direct cable connection. connectivity through modem is not a good and relible way. so i dont recommed , bocoz gaming on lan required a gud bandwidth. Above mentioned are the cheapest soultion for ur problem

No you cannot connect you two pc from RJ11. if in your PC have lan port then it connect with RJ45 cable which comes around 40 per meter without jack.

It is possible!

Just activate LAN Sharing on both PCs

Then connect one end slot to both PCs.

And restart both!

hi,

I read your requirements that technically not possible. If your one computer send data to others, you need in between DCE equipment that generate frequency clock rate so other DTE (Data terminal Equipment) will receive that frequency rate and communicate both equipment with each other. in peer-to-peer network like without any router, hub or switch (cross connection between two equipments or PC) one is automatically seems DCE & other is DTE so they are communicate with each other.

Paresh
