I would say no, it is not true. Fresh water in many areas is dwindling but there are many options for fresh water such as desalinization plants. I never drink the stuff myself.

no, we on long island will have water at least for another 200 years, if you're out of water in 2070 I sell you some, 1 liter bottle = $ 1299,95

Well Australia has the longest drought in record at the moment and we have very strict water restrictions and have started to build desalination plants and the government has just announced a 10 million dollar water initiative and I think these are all positive ways to ensure we will have water for our children's future.
