For many years now groups like NORML have tried to get people to understand that the laws about marijuana are unjust and that the whole sistuation needs to be reevaluated. Can you think of a process that would show better results?

You need to realize that the laws against marijuana are based on integrated cultural prejudices that were created about 400 years ago when the United States first began to expand.
There really isn't much you can do at this moment; I have done my own work as an anthropologist and I am almost positive that I won't see it happen in my life time.
There really isn't much the common citizen can do, due to the iron law of oligarchy we can't really eradicate.

yeah, we should do away with our joke of a government and base our laws on logic and reason, not petty politics and religious doctrine. i suggest and overthrow of some sort. Or you can move to canada where laws are cooler. people dont like change and our society has be told drugs are bad, yet we rarely hear about the other side. the war on drugs has been a waste of money, we could better spend that $ on helping dying people, but instead we piss it away. so in conclusion, over throw.

you need to go to the people, get the media on board, isolate it from the stigmas of other drugs, promote it's positive qualities and low side effects aside from medical purposes. Make it less of a bad guy all around. Say it loud enough and long enough they'll start to believe it.

Caged is real close with his answer. You will never get it done as long as the people in congress now are in their. These are mostly old guys that probably drink enough booze to get an elephant drunk on a daily basis but don't know a d_ _n thing about pot. So all you pot heads need to get out and vote.

Moving to Amsterdam in Europe somewhere. or to state the pro's about how marijuana helps people in pain or in a state of deep depression or whatever u use it for. I dont use it, never have or never will. Just puttin that out there as my opinion
