how do they prioritize people on waiting list??

All the students selected in the first list may not join the college.so they keep a waiting list.the selection from waiting list is made on the nearest cutoff percentage obtained .Even after that if there are any seats available they will relax a little and give to the next best candidates.

wiating list is like when they put someone on a stand by and any empty place they can put you in..... like replacing that someone.... the chances are 45% there is hope... Good Luck!
