Cats or raccoons fighting outside ... raccoons sound like screaming children sometimes. Creepy as heck.

Anything that is a constant noise like a dripping tap or a ticking clock or the old water heater or a barking dog. But if the noise happens once then I am ok with it.

I hate the ticking clock too. I usually sleep with the tv on low or the radio on. I have this thing about silence. It freaks me out.

Loud ticking clocks are annoying, but I hate the sound of sirens, and dogs barking, cats fighting, drunks arguing, squeaky hinges, water dripping, refrigerator humming , screech owl screeching, not that I here these sounds every night, thank God but I heard them all before.

I hate ticking clocks when I have a migraine. I never like it or don't notice, but what annoys me most is when neighbor's dogs bark because they leave them out to freeze.

Someone snoring is the worst! Also loud traffic, that is why I use a fan or, sound machine at night. Also a barking dog! This has to be the worst for me if Im flying at night and trying to sleep, people rattling paper, my worst. I do it too though. It just seems like the sound gets magnified on a plane or something, but I find it very irrititating.

The sounds you hear from a passing automobile with that funky loud noise from it's sterio...blasting in the still of night, as some dumb kids go looking to crash their new small crappy vehicle.
