Would you do well when gambling?

You would think so, being born on St. Patrick's Day (the luck of the Irish and all that), but I don't gamble.

It depends...Slot machines and I do not get along at all...the few times that I've gone to Atlantic City, I've actually done well at the roulette tables, and almost (but not quite) broke even at blackjack. When I was a wageror, I could grind out a small profit betting baseball, but would routinely drown in red ink with the NFL. The only gambling I engage in now is the occasional trip to Wheeling Island (W. Va.) for the grayhound races (I do OK) and the thoroughbred simulcasts (OK as well)....the big thing is, I don't take so much cash with me that I would feel guilty losing it all...and most of all, I enjoy myself, win or lose. Oh, and once, in Florida, I hit a $3,600 trifecta betting jai alai (google it.).

but if you're asking about coming up with real strategies to win a gamble...i'm a loser.

I did it once and I sucked! They took all of my $ in just a few minutes, (the whole $25!) and royally pissed me off. I won it back a bit later and then I was DONE! They won't ever get the chance to do that again. I work way too hard for that money to toss it off to them.
