No, they haven't attacked anyone since the Iraq/Iran war 30 years ago. It's only a wet dream from Pat Robinson and the neo-conservatives.

Its not out of the question, since the Iranian President has said that he would like to see Israel 'wiped off the map', and since Iran will likely one day have nuclear weapons - probably within a few years.
But hopefully, such an attack will not happen. Iran attacking Israel would assure the total destruction of Iran. Iran's vocal President is not actually the top man in Iran, so he might not be in a position to make such a decision. And finally, the internal politics of Iran is rapidly changing. Iran's young population might support the current government less and less as years go by.

The far more worrisome scenario is this: Iran developed nuclear weapons and gives terrorist groups nuclear bombs. These bombs are used against Israel, Iraq, or American interests. They could do enormous damage, and we might not be totally certain as to where the bombs came from.

Iran has been attacking Israel for decades already. Iran started Hezbollah as a proxy force to attack Israel without Iran being blamed for the attacks.
The only reason Iran's islamofascist leaders have not done more harm to Israel is because they are not yet able to get away with direct attacks. If Iran's islamofascist leaders are allowed get the "peaceful" nuclear weapons they are now trying to build, they will "peacefully" bomb Israel with them. Remember it's all about their Islam being a religion of "peace" so Iran nuking Israel would be "peaceful" nuclear power by Islamic definition.
Wake up and smell the jihad...

I don't even think that Ahmadinejad is insane enough to seriously consider what the consequences would be if Iran were to attack Israel. Israel has the capability of a second-strike, even if Iran launched a pre-emptive nuclear strike against Israel. Also, Israel has undergone construction of massive civil defense bunkers which would house enough of its command structure from attack. With US technology any sudden moves of a strike by Iran would be known by Israel before a launch would even be carried out. It would be suicidal on Iran's part to even consider backing up Ahmadinejad's threats. Tehran would become a no-man's land. Even terrorists with any sense of intelligence and rationale should tread lightly against Israeli military might.

Iran might attack Israel but if they did, there goes the middle east.
Israel would kick the hell out of Iran and if Iran dropped an atomic bomb Israel would then be forced to retaliate in kind. How many people would die? Is this what we are all about with our religious beliefs and righteous commentaries?

In every neo-cons wet dreams. An attack by Iran against Israel is a far fetched scenario.

Nothing will be accomplished in regards to Foreign Policy in the Middle East until Bush and Condie (useless shoe-shopping whore) are long gone. Get used to the status quo until an intelligent Democratic President takes office.

Only if an Israeli attack on Iran is iminent

Since Israel has nukes, Iran wouldn't start something unless it was a last resort. If Iran got nukes, the same would hold true since Israel has nukes.

Iran would not last long in an all out war with Isreal. Isreal has maybe the best Air Force in the world. If any is better it would be the US and we would back Isreal 100% on this fight.

Not unless they want to become a smoking crater in the desert. Isreal has strategic nuclear capabilities, Iran doesnt. Isreal has the US, Iran doesnt.
