No they shouldn't.They have as much right to Nuclear power and Nuclear weapons as the US and every other country have.
Reading some of the other answers above. I would say that alot of people would consider the US a rouge nation and consider their leader George Bush a nutcase...The guy can hardly string 2 sentences together.

Where have you been? Nuclear projects (as far as the rest of the world is concerned) Have ceased in the USA. The same applies to other Countries.
The world feels there is only one reason to create these type of Warheads. So countries that didn't have the capability 60 yrs ago should not start manufacturing now.
As far as experimentation . The people who receive that type of Education and that are involved with those types of chemicals are not in the particular countries that play with it. Certain elements are impossible to get a hold of except by illegal means.Therefore if they are privately producing it then they are up to no good.
If it was for worlds benefit then they would share what they are doing. All it takes is some nut that maybe losing an election or some country with major problems.Just one scared or pissed off Idiot and POOOF! We gone.

The last time I checked, the Iranian President called for Israel to be "wiped off the map". They are claiming that their nuclear material is for power plants, but that only requires 30% enriched uranium to do so, but they are enriching it to 90% which is weapons grade. What are people to think of that? Do the math. And if you think this maniac will not use a nuclear weapon, you need to pull your Muslim head out of the sand and wise up!

I'd like to see *all* countries dismantle their nuclear weapons programs. It seems only fair that what we demand of other countries, we agree to do ourselves. Otherwise, everyone just gets to monitor everyone else.

nope they need the nukes to prevent them getting first stike'd. Then you get negotiations somehow the North Koreans went from insane to reasonable once they detonated the bomb!!
