Wrong concept.
'Cityguynice' is right with the statistics.
If I move out of my home to earn a better living, that doesn't imply that I don't like my home.
And if you think that people of India don't like to stay in India, then why do you think a very high percentage of population that is capable of immigrating is still retained? Out of more than a 100 people that I know very well, only one considered that this country is sick. And this very person after moving out to other country admitted that India was far better...

Actually India is the greatest example of mixture of all the casts , religions , food , dresses , weather ( look - In Kashmir there is the ice while very close to it there is Rajastan with the hot weather & desert. ) Its really like heaven b'coz no 1 country on the earth has such a variety .
But our government is too lazy .It doesn't do its work on the correct time or in a proper way . The places r becoming too dirty and polluted .
So we r not liking it .
Don't believe ? Come and live in India for at least a month ......

Apart from the concept of "grass is always greener on the other side" there are only 5.7 million Indians outside India, which is not too much compared to its population. Since 2001, the number of Indian's seeking "foreign" citizenship has fallen drastically too, and people now days don't ques up to migrate to "can-nada".
Most Indian's goes abroad to look at the world outside home, seek better work, earning and professional training opportunities, and mostly a big chunk of them settle back home in India after a 7-10 years time period. You will now find a lot of homecoming for NRI's because of the improvement of the standard of living in India.
Also, user "Azn Elite", please refresh up your geography lesson, as India is not a part of middle east, and you should also refresh up your social science and moral science too, because India does not stinks, its one of the most beautiful countries in Asia and probably the world too.

Yes there are many Indian people live outside India because:
1)they are well educated and have a better opportunity to compete with the the professinal people of other countries
2)in their own country there are too crowded people because India has almost one billion inhabitants so its competition for having an occupation is very high
3)they look in other country have a better opportunity and better future life to get occupation with a higher compensation or other business with a higher income
4)they have a desire for living abroad as a challenge for a better life for their families.
5)the foreign companies abroad can receive them because their compensation of work are cheaper than other country's professional such as compared with the western professional
6)they are mastering in english language as the international language in the most of other countries

the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence is a natural human trait.
Genetically itself, Indians have been adventurous right from the time they came as Aryans to settle in India. The seed for the spirit to survive and grow in any new land was sown at that very moment.
They become restless very fast and feel the need to escape from anything they find non-moving and stagnant as a result of which they like to Explore any new opportunities thrown up to them in any part of the world, as a matter of Challenge. That is why you will find Indians in any part of the world surviving by their very grist and uncanny nature to first survive and than prosper leaving everyone behind. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong using the latest demographic-studies undertaken,in any part of the world with a large Indian population--Jai Hind.
