yes, and then you end up smudging your chin with ketchup while they're staring at you! >=0

Thats what I hate about going to a restaurant and eating. It really bothers me. I always try to sit in a corner somewhere. If they try to put us in front of alot of gaulking people, I'll say how about that table over there. If a restaurant is so crowded I'll leave. I really hate crowds, cause I know for sure I'd be stared at.

Yes of course. I don't know why they do that. They should order and then eat without scanning the whole restaurant. It looks like they want to see somebody who smashes himself or blowing ketchup everywhere. Because of this, I always eat take-away food. Then, find myself eating in the car. Good luck!!

It's plain bad manners for someone to stare while you are eating. You are not alone in hating that feeling, it's awful. However, I don't think it should force you to run away from eating out. Try staring back and see what happens. Just like you don't like being stared at, I'm sure the people staring don't like being stared at.

Sometimes people aren't even aware they are staring at you. They are deep in thought and don't realize it. If it bothers you, try moving in back of them or out of their field of vision. I have caught myself staring at people, and I wasnt really looking at them, I was just in a daze.

How about this? Your family is of mixed race and not only do they stare they point at you! At a restaurant after my dads memorial service we went to a restaurant in Riverside CA. We have white, black, Hawaiian, African, Vietnamese, people in our family you get the idea we felt like animals at the zoo!

YES... I can't stand it when your eating and someone just heavily stares at me.. It's like, please I'm eating here, mind your own business..

Maybe you should bite a big bite of fries and big bite of burger and chew until it gets some mushy in your mouth.. Then Open big an wide and expose your food as it drips from the roof of your mouth, at them.. Maybe they'll stop staring at you and mind their own business..

No, I don't like people to stare at me either. I would wonder if somethings on me or am I eating right. I think it's just rude to stare.
