The only way to find out if the cyst is cancerous or not is to wait until they take it out. My mother had this same surgery done years ago. They had to test the cyst once they got it out of her because they have to test it a certain way. I'm sure everything is going to be ok so please try not to worry yourself so much. I know that's pretty hard to do, but you have to be positive. Don't look for the worst to happen right now. Most cyst that grow on ovaries are not cancerous. Your going to be ok. Your boys need you right now. Stay positive, and know things are going to be alright.

I know it's hard not to, but worrying really isn't going to help, it won't change anything, it'll just make you feel bad. If you've had cysts before it's a good chance that this is the same thing. You are getting the problem dealt with so there's really not much more you can do. A positive mental attitude works wonders even in cases were people do have cancer. So, be positive, it's probably nothing, if it's not nothing it's going to get treated and you are going to be around for a good long time to look after those boys of yours. Every time you look at them think "I will be OK" and believe it.

Good luck

If you caught your problem early it shouldnt affect you having more children. Make sure that you see a reproductive endocrinologist to make sure you can still have babies.
