Use some energy to learn how to spell. Yes, this is a dumb question, since heat IS energy. If this is a question on a test, I would say the teacher is stupid too. Heat can boil water, the steam is used to run a turbine. The turbine performs WORK, which is different from energy (but related). No wonder the Asians and Indians are kicking our butts in science.

Heat is a form of energy therefore you can not make energy from it. On the other hand you can harness it by boiling water or using it to set off a reaction that will cause further energy to be released.
