This is the worst judge I think I have ever encountered. He makes a mockery of the american judiciary system. He leads the witness', does not allow for cross examination, excludes topics that would have a effect on the results(like with who the father is). This case could have taken hours, yet he somehow managed to drag it out for his own personal gains. He should be pressuring Howard K. Stern to take a paternity test(Because he can not order it for its not his jurisdiction). He should have just went with florida law and ordered next of kin to be in charge(Anna's mother). Now if she wants her to be buried in Texas, Larry Seidlin can order the body of Anna's son to be moved to texas also. He is wasting taxpayers money. Lets hope the good poeple of florida do not re-elect him.

Probate law is a different animal than criminal or civil law. The judge is taking way to long in this. The entire case of the paternity test, DNA, is stupid. If Stern is so sure he is the daddy, he would welcome the test. About who should have Anna's body, that is so simple, everyone knows she wanted to be with Danny. Give it up, if after the paternity is settled, and who ever is the daddy, they can have her and Danny exhumed and moved to where ever they want. Gross, yes, but still done and not that big of deal if done with respect. If the judge does get his own show, well, let's just hope he doesn't.

I agree, this guy is the lowest of the low to use this case/cases to help gain a career on court tv.
He obviously doesn't take the law seriously and is too selfcentered and ignorant to be responisible for making decisions on people's lives.
What a laughing stock this is making of the US court system,,it's disgraceful.
The person/s that made the decision to put Larry Seidlin on the bench on this high profile court case, knew it was going to drag out like this. Which is disgusting, Anna Nicole never got embalmed early enough, Anna has been dead 2 weeks now and there is still isn't a decision made to whom shall take the body, which should have been cleared up asap because the baby needs to know who will be raising her....

He wants his own TV show - he has been passing out "demo tapes" to producers and thinks his antics in the courtroom will increase his chances. You can bet that at a minimum he will write a book when all is said and done and cash in on the case.
You are right - The Paternity issue should have been settled long ago. That whole situation is just sad.

I'd have to agree with you; for an average probate case, this much testimony would be ridiculous. I hope the good folks in Florida wise up and toss the jerk out of office next time 'round.
