There was a lot of speculation that he faked his own death. His coffin for instance was very big and weighed over 900 pounds. It is said that he had an air conditioning unit in the bottom of it as there was a wax dummy in the coffin and this kept it from melting
Plus if you look at the picture of him in the coffin, his face was very thin and he was not thin at his death.
It was also said that he came back as a masked singer named Orion and now there is no music to be found by him and he performed a lot.
The day after his funeral, a person took a plane to South America under the assumed name that Elvis used when he travelled.
There are plenty of websites that will give more evidence of his faked death.
It's an age old question that will never be answered.

He is dead this is just like 2-pac someone spread a rumor saying he was still alive in fact they found and cremated 2-pac he died in the hospital. The case with Elvis is probably the same thing.

Actually Elvis, sadly, is dead. He actually died on the toilet and they found him with his pants down. Well that must have sucked!
