Kidd can only be a Laker if the following conditions are met:
1) Andrew Bynum is part of the package
2) The Lakers either give up Kobe or Lamar (which could not happen) or give a role player up such as Farmar, Walton, or Kwame
3) Finally, 2 first round draft picks...

No trade has happened yet, and it probably won't happen before the trade deadline. Plus, the Lakers would need to give up a lot more than Brown, Cook and Farmar would have to go to NJ to get Kidd just to make the salaries work under the cap. The Lakers would need to trade about 5 players to match salaries just to get Kidd in return. Whoever said it was just those three players is way wrong, because that trade doesn't come close to working under the salary cap.
ESPN.com or latimes.com would be much more reliable resources than Yahoo! Answers, most of what you'll see here are just rumors, and unrealistic rumors at that.

first of all, theyre wrong. Nets said they will only begin to consider a trade if bynum is in the equation. i dont think lakers should pull the trigger on that. Kidd is a coach killer. He is still playing great, but he's 34. bynum is like 12 or something. more potential in bynum.
then, even if lakers make the trade, i dont think it will help them much. kidd will do nothing except pass to kobe. he wont fit in teh system. the triangle offense runs through the 2,3,4 positions. point guards dont play a big role. in chicago, jordan and pippen always facilitated the offense. with the lakers, it has been kobe, lamar, and even luke walton.
