I have seen some Lego play tables on the internet, and one at a daycare where the surface of the table is made from flat squares of Lego or Duplo so that kids can build on top of them. Imagine a low to the ground wooden table where the surface is made of lego squares, about 10 inches by 10 inches, each flat. I know I can make one myself, but have searched the Lego website and have not found them. I don't even know if there is a special name for these pieces.

The product to search for is "Nilo: 2-Sided LEGO/Duplo Compatible Mat" You can use this product to make your table, each sheet is approx 12" X 32" X 3/8" and I believe you can cut it if need be to fit your specific dimensions (or use more than one sheet if you want to make a large table). 1 sheet runs about $20, or 4 sheets for $65-$70. Here's a few sites that carry them. Enjoy and good luck!
