For me,best anime would be Beyblade,Digimon, Shaman King, and Yu Yu Hakusho! Just like you,sometimes I get fed up when people mentioned Naruto...I see it everywhere,shopping mall, T-shirts,wrapping papers,etc...(sorry to Naruto fans)

i would have to say full metal alchemist personally.even though it was short lived only 51 episodes.it is the best hands down and not to mention it won the the award for best anime in 2005.

BLEACH... the vibrant display of zanpakuto and spirit energy (reiatsu) are enough to make anyone fall off the edge of their seats... and almost all of the characters are simply ADORABLE... you'll grow on them in no time...^^
