I would promise myself to be more careful about what I anchored my beliefs to from then on. I anchor to Nature. Sounds simplistic. But, it's not. The sun rises. The sun sets. Water runs down hill. And, what the heck are photons up to? We cannot rise above our wrong decisions until we learn what the right ones are. And, as we always have done, what we learn from Nature eternally is the "real" truth. The mistake we make so often, is we base our realities on subjective belief systems rather than on objective, natural truth. Subjective beliefs are no more than smoke hovering temporarily in the air. Even the slightest wind blows subjective "realities" away. And, remember: " Simple fools hope for the best and blame their gods after the test. But I shall plan for the worst, then myself shall I thank or curse." To avoid the despair of a shattered delusion, one learns to wisely anticipate and gracefully accept change.

Xanax.
Just kidding.
I would soon come to the conclusion that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, so to say.

Never thought about it too much really - although there are a few things which I know are true but wish they weren't, and if they weren't true, then I'd get what I want ... (but there's also the flip side to that!)

Nothing special.
I'm not a fanatic and my world definitely won't break down because of it. Each rational person knows that everything in this world is relative and nothing is constant!

You mean that Santa Claus didn't really exist? I would be devistated. Does that also mean my religious beliefs? How would someone prove it was fake? How would you prove it was fake?

I would be completely devastated. It may take some time to recover but recover I have to, otherwise I might as well be dead!
