should say i am 22. i have known since puberty i was attracted to men as well, but have never acted on it. i have been in therapy for 2 months just to try and sort things out (not any sort of corrective therapy bullshit). also, my girlfriend knows about my attraction and fantasies. up until now i thought i would always have to "come out" but then what does that mean if i someday switch back?

When I read the little profile you wrote with your question, I immediately thought, "This young man sounds like a bisexual."

The "clues"? (1) you love a woman but you don't say that you have a similar attachment towards a man; (2) you have known since PUBERTY that you were attracted to men (homosexuals usually know this -- even in a nonsexual way -- long before puberty -- bisexuals notice a difference in themselves from other people around adolescence; (3) you fantasize about men; (4) all of this bothers you so much that you have entered therapy -- in your early twenties -- it is said that many bisexuals accept who they are and label themselves as bisexuals in their mid-twenties.

I suggest you log onto a credible site on bisexuality -- not a porn site but one that is supportive. Learn about yourself and others like you -- both women and men.

Ac3leg, many men who outwardly appear to be straight (married with children, sports figures, etc.) are actually bisexuals. I believe they are far more numerous than gay fellows.

I hope this helps you.

Maybe chances are you are not actually 'in love' with a girl in the romantic sense- she might fulfill every other one of your needs (i.e. intellectual, emotional, etc.) which is why you might feel like you are "in love" with her, but maybe you just "love" her like a best friend type of love. I guess some of it depends on your age too- a lot of jr. high and high school aged boys go through a period of time where they do fantasize and consider alternative lifestyles to their own current...

however, if you are older and know yourself well, you have to really ask yourself that question- Which sex is the sex you feel sexually or romantically for and which one do you feel compassion and understanding and a bond with? It might be that the first is male and the latter is female, but only YOU can answer that question for real

Not at all -- and labels are bullsh_t. Especially about sexuality -- if we didn't have all the bullsh_t societal and religious stuff, human sexuality wouldn't be so restricted and we'd have much much more variety. I love my wife and get really turned by women but I've had the gay fantasy every now and then and even did some gay cyber.

not necessarily, you may be unsure of your own sexuality. I am guessing youre fairly young. sooner or later you may (or may not) get around to experimentation. I would advise practicing safe sex no matter which road you travel down. now that thats out of the way I think the only way to know for sure is to just find out. I f being with a dude does it for you well there's your answer.
good luck.

You are Bisexual and you still have not identified your secual identity just yet. You need professional couseling in order to save you tons of grief in the long run. It's better to learn things the easy way than the hard way.

It is not a straight forward question of being gay or not. Many people are attracted to either sex at different intensities. Don't worry about it.

you could be bi-sexual or bi-curious. In antiquity men did boys, men, women and I'm not quite sure what else. It could be instinctual for you. Maybe you have a vivid imagination or if you watch porn, you might watch a bit much of it.

it is normal for a male and a female at one point in their life, to feel this way- do not buy into these feelings. Humans are not ment to be gay. If you are in love, you are in love. Do not let society and culture confuse you. Being gay is a chioce despite how many people may have contradictory comments to say about this. Choosing to be gay is illogical and immoral and disgustng. Besides I think your girlfriend will be a little weirded out to find that you are gay yet in love eith her
