I'll be flying to Delhi from Kolkata for a trip to Nainital and the hills. I don't want to spend time and money going into Delhi and staying overnight, so I wonder if I can go directly from the airport? Is there a way to get a bus or a cab from the airport that goes to the hills, and can I book it in advance? Thanks.

plenty but remember do bargain and pay not more than rs 7 per km and rs500 per night for the driver. interview the driver sholdnt be a drinker

train will be a better option
Take the Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Kathgodam Raniketh Express in the night at 1000pm and reach Kathgodam the nextday morn at 0530. From Kathgodam you can take a taxi. Nainital is just 40 kms from there.
Else, Take Howrah-Kathgodam Bagh Express.

First take bus from Air Port to Inter State Bus Stand, Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. flow the Counters for the buses going in the direction of Madhya Pradesh or examine it at Enquiry. you will get bus on your trip spot.
