I know this is a hard emotional debate. However, if you truly believe abortion is murder, how does a woman making the decision to have an abortion directly affect you and your life? Please be specific and telling exactly what way a stranger's choice will truly have any affect or impact on you personally. Please do not respond with "It's just wrong", or "It's murder". Besides making you angry, how does it affect you? Are you unable to have children? Do you have children? Have you had an abortion? Please be specific.

I'm prolife. I'm also a "female pimp" so you should wonder how that can be possible. Really, women need to stop having as many abortions and if possible go online find an adoption center/// go prolife. There should be a stigma against killing babies. We were meant to procreate. Think about it if you kill a baby you are kind of like saying I hate myself or the partner I had sex with. It sounds very harsh because childbearing has got to be the roughest experience and then after bearing the kid you want to keep it. I have recently decided the best bet is to go online and donate money to organizations that will help pregnant women (shelter, birth) Then I can feel comfortable saying I'm prolife. After all, it cost money for hospital visits and some women can't bear the thought (me) of doing it naturally and may even want a csection haha.. but that is the only way I feel comfortable saying I'm prolife. I believe if you are prolife you have the authority to send males away for a long time for rape. Of Course life doesn't work out perfectly like my design though.

I have been pregnant 9x. First was abortion, next 4 miscarriages then 2 healthy, 1 more miscarriage and 1 more healthy baby.
What affects me is that women are lied to all the time about abortion. In abortion clinics it is like they all read from a script. They mislead women by not making all the info avl. and by using select wording. Drs make big money doing this, the patient is a $ sign, nothing more.
Ultrasounds are getting more and more detailed and you can see videos online of what an aborted baby lookes like at 12 weeks. Most people would like to turn their heads at that but it shows that they are babies with fingers and toes, even at 12 weeks. That is informed consent. Until a women has seen it, they are not informed!
On yahoo news this morning was a baby girl born at 21 weeks that survived and is going home with mom today. That baby was born alive at 21 weeks, so what was it 6 wks prior when abortion is legal? or is some states 20 weeks is legal.
I truly believe that someday in history books, women will look back at this and see it for it is. The slauter of inocent life, womens souls and inteligience.
It affects me because I had an abortion and will live with this the rest of my life. It affects me because I have knowledge that I can only hope others don't find the way I did. It affects me because now I know that was a life. It was when my child needed me most. It affects me because I know women are being blinded and and not being told the whole truth. It affects me because I have children and teach them to never hurt another, yet how do I explain the killing of these babies? Their brother or sister? It affects me because clinics say no more than they have to, we are only money to them. I may not be as affected if it was mandatory for every women who wants an abortion to watch a video of the procedure and listen and see the heartbeat with ultrasound. Then again, there was a time in history when beating and abusing children was no ones business. Parents would say, It's my child! My choice how I disipline! SO, maybe it would still affect me.

It doesn't directly affect any of us, unless it's a family member or a friend that had one. Random person from Texas just had an abortion, I know this how? Based on statistics? I doesn't affect me directly. So therefore it's outta site outta mind.

If you honestly think we shouldn't care about or try to stop abortion because it doesn't "directly affect" us, then logically you should extend the same line of reasoning to other crimes against humanity, such as rape, slavery, and abuse of born children. After all, if someone else owns a slave, or rapes a woman, or beats a child to death, it doesn't affect me, right? Who I am to say that such things should be illegal? Wouldn't that mean "imposing my morality" on others? After all, those are all "personal choices," right?

When a woman chooses to kill her unborn child, it doesn't affect me personally. But you know, some people actually do care when other innocent human beings are unjustly executed. For more information, see:

It tells me that our society sees children as a burden and a disposable unwanted byproduct of sexual recreation. It cheapens the value of life when our daughters are taught to value the short-term thrill of getting laid over any consideration of consequences, to 'choose' convenience over responsibility. It makes people reluctant to raise children of their own in an environment where their very existence is treated with such disdain.

Any society which murders its young is not long for this world.
