A (girl) friend is someone who you are with and got to know with for several years. It could be a neighbor, a schoolmate or in activity . You don't need to find it as long as you have a good character and friendly enough, they will approach you automatically so to speak. As long as you have common interests and goals im sure, it's not hard to find one. To tell whether a friend is good or not is base on the personality of that person, and I'm sure you have a good character to find a girlfriend with the same character. OK bro.

To find a good girl friend will take time. Meet a girl and don't rush into anything. It takes time to get to know a person. Where to find her. What do you do? Hang out where you can meet girls. Or in todays world the INternet personals.

Go out to public places and events and gatherings ...... if you are in school, attend school functions and sport events. If you have a dog, take it for a walk to a park near by. If you are involved in a church, attend some activities designed for people of your age. Many times people need something in common to talk about.
Online chats and going to bars are not the answer!!! Remember the Dateline stories on TV -- "To Catch A Predator", you don't always get what you think you are getting!!

in my opinion, if u ever want a good friend be free to others
once u r free to others u can easily know who all rreally good atheart and of ur type
in a simple manner;a real good friend will be havinglots of friends with them;
even in schools;colleges etc a real friend will neverbe alone at any point of time
