Ask your friend,
"What would you do if you have a real good friend who you respect is keeping something personal and you are worry about her. What would you do?"
Take her answer and work with it until you are about to let her know you're aware of something about her. Afterwards immediately address your concern and appeal to her heart, but mostly look for solution to help solve the problem.
The best gift you can give a friend who's in distress is your prayers to Jesus Christ. Good luck.

...maybe she's not your best friend...maybe you have to remind her that you and her are best friends.
