I am trying to vote for American Idol... it won't go through?

Do I push vote-5711 or just 5711

also it is free to text on my phone plan.. so why do people say 'save your money, don't vote?'

When text message it is vote and the number. If you can't get through it may be like trying to call and not being able to ever get through. I don't know about text messaging, but I do know I have not been able to vote for anyone on American Idol for the past 3 years. I can never get through no matter how long I try or how often. They do not have enough lines for 33 million people to call and I believe this is something that should be addressed by American Idol. As to people telling you to say you money, just tell them it doesn't cost you a thing and let it go at that. It isn't there business what you do with you money. Good Luck with the voting.
