Who exactly would follow us home if we withdraw??

The Iraqi militias that are fighting an occupier?? Well, that makes no sense, once we leave, their gripe is over.

Al-Qaeda?? If they wanted to attack us, the war in Iraq is not preventing an attack. They are fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, etc and can certainly send a few guys to attack the US if they wanted.

I think they said same about Vietnam and communists. Saying if you don't fight enemies over seas you'll get bunch of communists army in your backyard, neighborhood. Seem to be a popular war time rhetoric.

Not really a question, more a statement of your beliefs in diatribe form accusing all those who disagree of being dim-witted and slow, but I'll entertain it anyway.

I don't believe the Iraq war to be the best planned or executed, but I pose the question: Didn't they already follow us here? Whats to say they wouldn't again? My plan is, pull out, come home, tell them if they f*ck with us once more, even sneeze in a way we disapprove of, we turn the whole motherf*cker into a parking lot. If they did attack us again, would you then see it as a true threat, or would you still hide behind a veil of pacifism to cover your cowardice?

Counting the real estate, business losses and cleanup of the World Trade Center, Pentagon and jets used and the "war on terror", the U.S.A has lost somewhere in the vicinity of two trillion dollars. Throw in the cost and inconveniences of airline flights, ongoing homeland security and the losses of American freedoms because of the Patriot Act and a picture emerges. In contrast, the terrorists lost a few caves. Who's winning?

The American public really needs to take a couple of hours out of their busy schedule and pay attention to what is actually going on in the world. The Iraqis are fighting to free their nation, and they will accomplish that goal whether the Americans like it or not.

The American military has illegally invaded Iraq and decimated its people, infrastructure, freedoms, and future. Don't fool yourselves in believing that all will be forgotten if you choose to withdraw. You honestly expect for them to let bygones be bygones after your actions have resulted in several hundred thousand Iraqis dying?

Us Canadians are your neighbours and therefore any hardships that you guys suffer will be suffered by us also, but karma will catch up with the American public. You will one day know how it feels like to have a foreign force occupying your land and labeling you an "insurgent" for attempting to free your nation.

If troops withdrawl now, the enemy will take the place of the positions held by US troops.

Once we leave, the enemy "gripe" will not be over. The intent of Islam is to make the world "Islamic". The fight will surely come here.
