I don't think they have proclaimed her to be a saint yet. However, last I heard she was on the "fast track' to become one. It usually takes 50 - 100 years to be Satined.

No, but I think she has been beatified which is the first step towards sainthood. The last pope created more saints in 26 years than all his predecessors had in almost 2000 years, and thankfully the new one thinks there needs to be some cooling off. As a result the calls to 'fast track' both her and John Paul II (which I think is insulting, suggesting they need special treatment) may not be heeded.

She has not been canonized yet. But she is past the first mark and will be there some day soon.
Pope JP will be there soon also. The new pope passed that it was OK that JP does not have to wait the five years. His will be quick. I would say that by the end of 2010 the two will be Saints.
