I read a lot of books when I was younger, and I barely remember it, but I think it was a series of the same books that told moral stories (kind of like the bearenstien bears) and all I can remember is this one book about the gimme monster or something.... when I think of it I can see in my head the one that says gimme is in a tree and is looking down in a lake and he takes something from the other person.... im thinking the "people" in the book are furry creatures?? I KNOW this is very vague, but I REALLY REALLY want to know what these books were it's driving me CRAZY
ANY suggestions are MORE THAN WELCOME!!! PLS PLS HELP!

Is it "The Chronicles Of Narnia"? Or "The Series Of Unfortunate Events".
Or maybe "The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy".

They are a bit old. Perhaps it helps.
